I'm old-fashioned and think that reading books is the most glorious pastime that humankind has yet devised.

About This Quote

Many people who have been around a long time may remember the days when reading was a tremendous chore. In those days, few people had the leisure to read books, and those that did probably read just for work. If you wanted to learn something new or expand your mind, you studied it in a classroom. But now there’s a glut of knowledge, and experts say that if you want to get ahead, you should read books.

The advice is old-fashioned, but it’s still sound advice. The key is finding the time to read those books.
